Step 1

MANUAL THERAPY

Hands-on treatment helps reduce tightness, improve joint movement, and restore better alignment. This creates the foundation for lasting change.

Step 2

SELF-MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

We teach you simple techniques to support your progress between sessions. The goal is give you the tools to manage your body with confidence.

Step 3

MOVEMENT TRAINING

Using Functional Patterns–based training, we retrain posture and movement so your body works more efficiently. This means focusing on the basics: standing, walking, running, and throwing. These improvements carry into daily life.

Step 4

Independence

Once pain is reduced and movement quality has improved, clients may opt for a membership for ongoing training and progression.

What is functional patterns?

Functional Patterns is a movement-based system developed by Naudi Aguilar. It was designed to address a common issue in fitness and rehab: treating symptoms without correcting how the body actually moves.

Rather than isolating muscles or focusing only on pain, this approach looks at the body as a connected system. By improving posture and “the first four” movements: standing, walking, running, and throwing, we can address the root causes of recurring discomfort.

At Aligned Performance, these principles are applied through a clinical lens by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, ensuring each plan is individualized and grounded in sound movement science.
